Important Notice Regarding Packaging
3M has discontinued the inclusion of sticky notes with application instructions on the packaging for 3M Tegaderm CHG Chlorhexidine Gluconate I.V. Port Dressing (models 1665 and 1665NS). The official Instructions for Use (IFU) and product application guides remain available for users.
Application Steps
The application process involves the following steps:

- Prepare the site and remove the dressing from the sterile packaging.
- Peel back the liner to expose the adhesive side.
- Position the dressing over the I.V. port site.
- Apply the dressing firmly to the skin, ensuring the CHG gel pad is centered over the insertion site.
- Smooth the edges to ensure a secure seal.
- Remove the frame and secure the dressing edges.
