This document provides the installation procedure for the AeroCool Verkho Series CPU air coolers. It covers the mounting process for both Intel and AMD motherboard sockets. Ensure you have all parts listed before beginning the installation.

Intel Installation (LGA 1200/115X/775)

- Prepare the motherboard and align the mounting bracket (A) with the CPU socket holes.
- Insert the standoffs (C) and secure the bracket using the push pins (B). Note: Ensure correct alignment for LGA 1200/115X versus LGA 775 as indicated in the diagram.
- Apply a small amount of thermal paste (D) to the center of the CPU heat spreader.
- Mount the cooler onto the bracket and secure it firmly.
- Connect the fan cable to the CPU_FAN header on the motherboard.
AMD Installation (AM4/AM3+/AM3/AM2+/AM2/FM1)

- Prepare the motherboard by ensuring the stock AMD retention mechanism is in place.
- Position the cooler onto the CPU.
- Secure the cooler using the existing AMD retention lever mechanism.
- Connect the fan cable to the CPU_FAN header on the motherboard.
Practical help
Common problems
Ensure the push pins (Intel) or retention lever (AMD) are fully locked and engaged.
Verify that thermal paste (D) was applied correctly and the cooler is firmly seated against the CPU.
Before use
- Verify socket compatibility (Intel LGA 1200/115X/775 or AMD AM4/AM3+/AM3/AM2+/AM2/FM1)
- Ensure all parts (A, B, C, D) are present
- Clean old thermal paste from the CPU surface
- Have a screwdriver ready if required for specific motherboard backplates
