Quick guide from the manual
This guide provides essential instructions for setting up and maintaining your AORUS M6 wireless gaming mouse. Ensure the device is fully charged before its first use. The mouse can be used in wireless mode or wired mode while charging via a USB connection.
Getting started
Before using the mouse for the first time, it must be fully charged. A depleted battery takes approximately 3 hours to reach full capacity. If the mouse has been stored for an extended period, recharge it before use. When the charging cable is connected, the DPI indicator will display a static green light for 5 seconds to confirm charging has begun.
How to activate the mouse
To activate the mouse, use the power switch located on the bottom of the device. You can connect the mouse to your computer using the provided USB receiver (Type-A or Type-C) for wireless operation.
How to charge the battery
Connect the charging cable to the USB-C port on the front of the mouse. The other end of the cable can be connected to a power source using either a Type-C or Type-A connector.
DPI indicator
The DPI indicator light provides feedback on both battery status and current sensitivity settings:
- Battery Status: Flashing red indicates low battery levels (below 20%). A static green light indicates the battery is at 100% while charging.
- DPI Settings: The indicator changes color based on the selected DPI: 800 (White), 1600 (Yellow), 3200 (Cyan), and 6400 (Magenta).
You can further customize battery monitoring and DPI sensitivity settings using the GIGABYTE Control Center software.
