Product Overview
The Aurora 150W floodlight is a high-performance, IP65-rated luminaire designed for outdoor use. It is built to withstand low-pressure water jets and features a corrosion-resistant powder-coated finish. This product is classified as Class I and must be properly earthed during installation. Please note that these luminaires are not dimmable and should not be installed in environments such as saunas or steam rooms, nor near air conditioning or central heating units.
Safety Information
Warning: Do not stare directly into the LEDs while the light is in operation, as this may cause eye damage. Installation must be performed by a qualified electrician in accordance with the latest national wiring regulations. Ensure the power supply is disconnected before starting any work. This luminaire contains no user-serviceable parts.
Installation Instructions
Before beginning, ensure the power is switched off at the mains. Follow these steps for a secure installation:
- Preparation: Mark the mounting surface using the bracket as a template. For the 150W model, the hole spacing is 185mm.
- Mounting: Drill the holes and secure the bracket using appropriate screws and rawl plugs (not supplied).
- Wiring: Connect the luminaire to an IP-rated junction box (not included). The wiring must be connected as follows: Brown to Live (L), Blue to Neutral (N), and Green/Yellow to Earth. The luminaire must be earthed.
- Finalizing: Attach the floodlight to the bracket and secure it with the provided nuts and washers. Once installed, restore power at the mains.
Maintenance and Disposal
The luminaire requires no internal maintenance. If the unit fails, it should be inspected by a qualified professional. This product is subject to the Waste Electrical and Electronic Equipment (WEEE) regulations. Do not dispose of this product with household waste. Please use your local recycling facilities or contact your retailer for proper disposal instructions to ensure environmental compliance.
Warranty
This product is covered by a 5-year warranty from the date of purchase. The warranty is void if the product has been subjected to improper use, tampering, or incorrect installation. In the event of a fault during the warranty period, the unit will be replaced free of charge, subject to verification of the defect.
