Safety Information

Important: Wear gloves during installation to prevent crushing and cutting injuries. Do not use silicone containing acetic acid during assembly.

Installation and Operation

The mixer must be installed, flushed, and tested according to valid norms. For 5-liter water heaters, the flow rate at the mixer must not exceed 5 l/min; if necessary, reduce the flow at the isolation valve. When the storage tank is being heated, the spout will drip.

Maintenance

Non-return valves must be checked regularly according to DIN EN 1717 and national/regional regulations (at least once a year). When changing the spray former, use only a model approved for this type of mixer.

Troubleshooting

• Insufficient water: Clean or exchange the spray former; clean or exchange the filter at the isolation valves.
• Mixer stiff: Exchange the cartridge.
• Mixer dripping constantly: Exchange the cartridge.
• Water escaping in area of swivel spout: Exchange the O-ring.
• Water escaping at the threaded base: Check the adapter floor and replace if necessary; exchange the O-ring at the connection hose.
• Water escaping below handle: Exchange the cartridge.
