Safety Instructions

Operation and Control

The device offers two primary control modes selectable via dipswitches on the rear panel:

  • Manual Mode: Activate by setting dipswitch 9 to ON. Speed and brightness can be adjusted manually using the controls on the back of the unit.
  • DMX Mode: Activate by setting dipswitch 10 to ON. Use switches 1-9 to set the DMX address. The unit utilizes 2 DMX channels: CH1 for speed (0-255) and CH2 for brightness (0-255).

For DMX setups, it is recommended to use a DMX signal terminator (a 120-ohm resistor between pins 2 and 3 of an XLR connector) at the end of the chain to prevent signal interference.

Maintenance and Troubleshooting

  • Clean the unit only with a dry cloth. Do not use chemical cleaners or sprays on switches, as these can cause dust and grease deposits.
  • If the unit is damaged, do not connect it to power. Repairs must be performed by a qualified technician using original spare parts.
  • If the unit has not been used for a long period, allow it to reach room temperature before switching it on to prevent condensation.
