Product Overview

The Bebe Stars 140cm bed rail (Item 721) is a protective barrier designed to prevent children from falling out of bed. It is suitable for children between 12 months and 5 years of age who can climb on and off the bed independently. The product complies with EN 716 and BS7972 safety standards.

Safety Guidelines

Important: Your child's safety depends on following these instructions carefully. Keep this manual for future reference.

• The bed rail is not a substitute for a cot.
• Installation and adjustments must be performed only by an adult.
• Ensure the bed rail is compatible with your bed frame (metallic or slatted).
• To prevent strangulation, ensure a gap of at least 250 mm between each end of the bed and the bed rail.
• Do not use with mattresses thicker than 20 cm or beds where the mattress surface is higher than 60 cm from the floor.
• Keep the product away from heat sources, electrical cables, windows, and curtains.
• Never leave the child unattended.

Assembly and Adjustment

The assembly process involves connecting the top and bottom tubes, threading them through the fabric cover, and attaching them to the folding mechanism and bracing tubes. Once assembled, the height can be adjusted by pressing the designated buttons, and the rail can be rotated for easy access to the bed.

Cleaning and Maintenance

Regular maintenance is essential for safety. Periodically check all components for wear, damage, or missing parts. If any part is damaged, do not use the product until it is repaired or replaced. Clean fabric parts with a soft cloth and water or a neutral detergent. Wipe plastic parts with a damp cloth. Always dry metal parts after contact with water to prevent rust. Avoid using abrasive detergents or solvents. Store the product in a dry place when not in use.
