Table of contents
Product Overview
The Bogen 150W high-performance loudspeaker is designed for versatile audio applications, supporting both 70V distributed systems and low-impedance (8-ohm) configurations. The S5T model offers power taps of 32W, 16W, 8W, 4W, 2W, and 1W, while the S4T model offers 16W, 8W, 4W, 2W, and 1W.
System Configurations
70V Systems: When designing a 70V system, ensure the total power tap settings of all connected speakers do not exceed the amplifier's output power. Never set the tap selector to the 8-ohm position when using a 70V amplifier.
Low-Impedance Systems: When wiring multiple speakers at 8 ohms, use Ohm's Law to calculate the total load. The total impedance must not be lower than the amplifier's minimum rating. Ensure the amplifier does not exceed the speaker's maximum power rating.
Installation and Mounting
The speaker includes a mounting base and bracket system for secure wall installation. Safety Warning: The wall material and mounting hardware must be capable of resisting a pull-out force at least 10 times the weight of the speaker. Always attach a user-supplied safety cable to the designated attachment point on the rear of the speaker, securing the other end to an independent anchor point.

Wiring
Strip 1/2 inch of insulation from the wires. Use the spring-loaded terminals on the rear of the speaker, ensuring correct polarity by matching red to red and black to black terminals.
Care and Maintenance
To clean the speaker cabinet, use only mild soap and water with a soft cloth. Wipe gently to avoid damaging the finish.
