This pruner is designed for sawing wood such as branches, planks, and wooden beams at ground level. It must be operated with two hands.

Assembly
Mounting and tensioning the saw chain (see figures B1 – B7). Wear PPE before maintaining or changing the saw chain. Do not use any tools for assembly.

Saw Chain Lubrication
The pruner is not supplied filled with oil. Be sure to fill the oil reservoir with chain oil before using it. Check regularly whether the saw chain is properly lubricated.

Operation
Hold the pruner with both hands, one hand on the rear handle and one hand on the auxiliary handle. Press the power lock-off button and then the On/Off switch.

Troubleshooting
If the pruner does not operate properly, check the battery, chain tension, and oil level. If the problem persists, contact your Bosch Service Centre.
Maintenance
Regularly check the chain saw for obvious defects such as loose, dislodged or damaged saw chain and chain bar, loose fixings and worn or damaged components.
