This manual provides essential information for the operation, maintenance, and commissioning of the Breathe-Safe 100031GA pressurisation system for the 2050M Dozer. Key operational steps include performing a pre-start check, ensuring the cabin is sealed, and monitoring the display for pressure and CO2 levels. The system is designed to maintain positive cabin pressure to protect the operator from dust and particulates.

Safety Warnings

The pressurisation system involves high-speed rotating equipment and electrical components. Observe the following safety precautions:

• Qualified staff must wear appropriate Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) when cleaning or servicing the unit, including hard hat, eye protection, dust mask, ear protection, and protective clothing.
• The system operates on 12V DC or 24V DC. Always isolate the circuit by opening relevant circuit breakers before performing electrical work.
• Ensure all safety guards are in place while the system is running.
• HEPA filters cannot be cleaned and must be replaced at the end of their lifecycle or if damaged.
• Do not handle smoke emitters until all safety precautions and the Safety Data Sheet (SDS) have been read.

Maintenance Schedule

Regular maintenance is critical for system performance and warranty compliance.

Every 500 Hours

• Check operation of the Turbo Pre-cleaner.
• Ensure the pressuriser blower is operational.
• Inspect the HEPA primary filter capacity indicator. Replace if 80% or greater. Vacuum out the housing before replacing.
• Vacuum inside the cabin floor before replacing the HEPA return air filter.
• Check door seals, bolts, screws, and mounts for security. Ensure the filter canister is correctly fitted and latches are operational.

Every 15,000 Hours / 36 Months

• Perform all 500-hour inspection actions.
• Replace the brushless pressuriser blower (P/N 200002).

Operator Guide

Follow the pre-start checklist before every shift:

1. Visually inspect the BreatheSafe system for damage.
2. Visually inspect the cabin for damage to doors, windows, and seals.
3. Remove dust and debris from shoes and clothes before entering.
4. Ensure doors and windows are closed correctly.
5. Start the engine and turn the HVAC to speed 2 (medium speed).
6. Verify the display shows 50 Pascals (or pre-set value) in green.

Commissioning Procedures

Commissioning is required to validate the installation and ensure the system meets RS20 and ISO 23875 standards. The minimum requirement for cabin sealing efficiency is 250 Pascals. If this is not met, re-examine the enclosure for leaks. Required images for submission include the ID plate, pressuriser location, return air filter location, and the cabin pressure display showing the maximum result.

Troubleshooting

Common issues and solutions:

• *ERR error code: Check sensor connection or perform factory reset (pin 6759).
• *Check filter alarm: Reset service hours via code 7597.
• Pressuriser running at full speed/noisy: Check for blocked filter, open doors/windows, or inadequate cabin sealing.
• Low pressure alarm: Ensure doors/windows are closed, check for blocked sense tube, or verify pressuriser operation.
• Display blank: Check mains supply fuse, voltage, and earth continuity.

User Settings

Access the Setup mode by pressing the SETTING button and entering the site access pin (7597). This allows adjustment of parameters such as time, date, pressure alarm setpoints, CO2 settings, and service intervals.

Data Download

Data can be downloaded via an RS232 connection using TeraTerm software. Configure the connection with Baud Rate 57600, 8-bit data, EVEN parity, 2-bit stop, and NO flow control. Data can be exported to Excel for archiving.
