Product Overview
The CLAS 1" torque wrench is a precision tool designed for tightening bolts and nuts to specific torque values ranging from 300 to 1500 Nm. It features a main pipe, main scale, secondary scale, locking ring, and handle for accurate adjustments.
Operation
To set the desired torque:

- Pull the locking ring backwards to unlock the wrench.
- Turn the handle clockwise to increase torque or anticlockwise to decrease it.
- Align the secondary scale with the central mark on the main scale to reach the target value.
- Release the lock to secure the setting.
During operation, apply force evenly without inertial force. When the set torque is reached, the wrench will emit a distinct click. For lower torque settings where the click may be subtle, a noticeable slip indicates the target value has been achieved.
Safety and Precautions
- Always select the correct wrench size for the task.
- Verify the torque setting before use.
- Do not use the torque wrench to strike objects.
- Read all instructions carefully to prevent accidents or tool damage.
Maintenance and Calibration
To ensure long-term accuracy, the tool must be recalibrated after one year or 5000 uses. If the wrench will not be used for an extended period, always reset it to the minimum torque value (10 Nm) to prevent permanent spring compression, which can affect precision.
Technical Data
The tool includes a conversion table for various units (lb-in, lb-ft, Nm, kg-cm, kg-m) and a common torque reference table based on bolt diameter and material strength grade, ranging from M4 to M36.
