Product Overview

The Costway 1500W Oil Filled Radiator Heater is designed for efficient indoor heating. It features three heat settings (600W, 900W, and 1500W), an adjustable thermostat for temperature control, and essential safety features including overheating protection and a safety tip-over switch.

Safety Instructions

To ensure safe operation, please observe the following precautions:

  • Keep combustible materials such as furniture, bedding, and curtains at least 3 feet (0.9 m) away from the heater.
  • Always unplug the unit when not in use.
  • Do not use the heater in bathrooms, laundry areas, or near water sources.
  • Do not run the power cord under carpets or in high-traffic areas.
  • Always plug the heater directly into a wall outlet; do not use extension cords or power strips.
  • Do not block air intakes or exhaust vents.
  • Use the heater only on a flat, stable surface.

Assembly

The heater comes with two caster assemblies that must be installed before use:

  • Ensure the heater is unplugged and turned off.
  • Turn the heater upside down.
  • Place the U-shaped bolts over the base pipe between the radiator fins.
  • Align the assembly bracket slots with the screws and fasten securely using the provided wing nuts.
  • Turn the unit upright before plugging it in.

Operation

Place the heater on the floor, ensuring ample space around it. During initial use, a slight odor may occur, which is normal and will dissipate quickly. To operate:

  • Plug into a standard AC outlet.
  • Use switch I for 600W, switch II for 900W, or both for 1500W.
  • Adjust the temperature knob clockwise to increase heat or counterclockwise to decrease it.
  • To turn off, set the thermostat to the lowest setting and switch off the power indicator switches.

Maintenance and Care

Before cleaning, always turn off and unplug the heater. Wipe the exterior with a soft, damp cloth. Do not immerse the unit in water or use harsh chemicals like gasoline or benzene, as these can damage the surface. For off-season storage, ensure the unit is cool, the cord is secured, and store it in a dry location, preferably in its original packaging.
