This document provides installation instructions for Danfoss 013R9066 fittings used with PEX plastic tubing. The primary installation method involves cutting the tube at a 90-degree angle, assembling the components, and tightening the nut with a wrench by 1/2 to 1 turn.
Installation steps



- Prepare the tube: Cut the PEX plastic tubing at a perfect 90-degree angle. Ensure the end is clean and free of debris.
- Assemble the fitting: Slide the nut and the compression ring onto the tube, then insert the fitting insert into the tube end.
- Tighten: Tighten the nut by hand first. Then, use a wrench to tighten the nut an additional 1/2 to 1 turn.
Important warnings
- Do not use oil or lubricants: The fitting should be installed dry.
- Avoid pipe wrenches: Do not use pipe wrenches to tighten the fitting, as this may damage the component.
