This document provides the installation procedure for the Danfoss Piston Kit 180R9433, compatible with VDHT 3/4, 1, ED (N), EA (N), BL (N), and BL (M) pumps. The process involves extracting the old piston and spring, and inserting the new components. Ensure you have a 13 mm hexagon key or 6 mm Allen key and a torque wrench ready.
Kit contents
- Complete piston "10"
- Spring "11"
Piston extraction

- Use a 13 mm hexagon key or 6 mm Allen key to unscrew plug "C".
- Remove spring "11".
- Remove piston "10" by placing a finger into the center of the piston and pulling it out.
Piston insertion

- Push the new piston "10" into the valve.
- Place the new spring "11" behind the piston.
- Mount cover "C" ensuring the spring fits into the groove in the cover.
- Screw the 4 screws into the cover. Tighten to a torque of 30 Nm.
Important notes
If the small O-ring in cover "C" falls out during disassembly, it must be replaced in the cover before remounting the assembly.
