Before starting any draining or filling procedure, ensure the following steps are taken:

  • Block off the radiator inlet and outlet.

  1. Screw the RLV drain and filling tap onto the connection thread of the RLV fitting.
  2. Open the tap fully using a standard square-hole spanner.
  3. After completing the draining or filling work, close the valve carefully.
  4. Remove the drain and filling tap from the fitting.

Water Flow Adjustment

To adjust the water flow through the valve:

  • Use a 6 mm hexagon (Allen) key.
  • Turn the key towards the open position to set the desired flow.
