This document provides instructions for installing the IP21 protection kit on Danfoss VLT HVAC Basic Drive models H1, H2, H3, H4, and H5. Please note that the IP21 protection rating is only achieved when the LCP (Local Control Panel) is correctly mounted.
Installation procedure
- Top cover installation: Fit the top cover onto the frequency converter.
- Clamp installation: Install the clamps onto the metal bracket and secure them using M4 x 20 screws.
- Bracket mounting: Mount the metal bracket onto the frequency converter and secure it with two M4 x 10 screws. Ensure a tightening torque of 2Nm.
- Bottom cover installation: Fit the bottom cover onto the frequency converter and secure it with an M4 x 10 screw.

IP21 rating not achieved
