Quick guide from the manual

The Duality Fuzz is a compact pedal requiring a regulated 9V DC power supply with a center-negative plug. It features controls on both the front and back panels. To access the back controls, open the magnetic bottom lid.

Controls

Front Panel

  • Level: Adjusts the volume of the overdriven signal.
  • Duality: Mixes two discrete fuzz circuits. Set to minimum for a pure gated saw-tooth wave, or increase for a tighter high-gain fuzz.

Back Panel

  • Blend: Mixes the clean input signal with the overdriven signal. The clean signal remains at unity gain, while the Level knob controls the overdriven volume.
  • Filter: Adjusts the amount of high-frequency content in the fuzz signal.

Technical Specifications

  • Input Impedance: 1MΩ
  • Output Impedance: 100kΩ
  • Current Consumption: ~40mA
  • Voltage: 9V DC (Center Negative)

Safety and Warranty

Use only a regulated 9V DC adapter with a center-negative plug. Unregulated power supplies or higher voltages may damage the unit and void the warranty. To activate the warranty, register the product at http://mypedal.darkglass.com and enter the serial number found on the back of the pedal. For support, contact [email protected].

Practical help

Common problems

Suboptimal noise performance or unit damage

Ensure you are using a regulated 9V DC adapter with a center-negative plug. Unregulated supplies or higher voltages cause these issues.

Interference with radio or television reception

Reorient or relocate the receiving antenna, increase separation between the equipment and receiver, or connect the equipment to an outlet on a different circuit.

Before use

  • Verify power supply is 9V DC, center-negative
  • Ensure power supply is regulated
  • Check current draw requirements (~40mA)
  • Register product online for warranty
