Product Overview
The Delta 15718LF Lakewood is a single-handle centerset lavatory faucet designed for residential bathroom use. This unit features a durable finish and is engineered for straightforward installation on single or three-hole sink configurations.
Installation Instructions
Before beginning, ensure the mounting surface is clean. If the surface is uneven, apply silicone sealant under the gasket to ensure a watertight seal. Position the faucet and secure it from underneath the sink using the provided mounting hardware and nut. Tighten the nut securely, but avoid over-tightening to prevent damage.

Water Supply Connections
Determine the type of connection required for your plumbing. The faucet supports connections via ball nose risers (3/8 inch O.D. copper tubing) with coupling nuts or 1/2 inch I.P.S. faucet connectors. Ensure all connections are secure to prevent leaks.
Pop-Up Assembly
The installation includes a pop-up drain assembly. Apply silicone to the underside of the flange before inserting the body into the sink. Ensure the pivot hole faces the back of the sink. Secure the assembly, attach the horizontal rod to the strap using the provided clip, and connect the assembly to the drain.
System Flushing and Leak Check
After installation, remove the aerator using the supplied wrench. Turn on both hot and cold water supplies and allow the water to run for one minute. This process flushes out any debris that could damage internal components. Check all connections for leaks and tighten if necessary.
Maintenance and Troubleshooting
To maintain the finish, wipe the faucet gently with a damp cloth and blot dry with a soft towel. Avoid harsh abrasives or polishes.

- If the faucet leaks under the handle: Remove the handle and ensure the bonnet is tight. If the leak persists, replace the cartridge.
- If the faucet leaks from the spout: Replace the cartridge.
- If the faucet exhibits low flow: Remove and clean the aerator.
Always shut off the water supply before performing any maintenance or component replacement.
