Table of contents

Product Overview

The Dimplex 14L everdri is a high-performance dehumidifier designed for indoor residential use. It effectively controls relative humidity by drawing moist air through the unit, condensing the moisture, and collecting it in an internal water tank. The unit is equipped with an active carbon filter to capture dust and odors, and features castors for easy mobility.

Safety Information

Important: This appliance contains R290 refrigerant gas. It must be installed, operated, and stored in a room with a floor area larger than 7m2 for 14L models. Do not use in bathrooms or near water sources. Ensure a minimum clearance of 50cm around the unit for proper airflow. Never operate the unit if the power cable is damaged or if the device has been dropped. Always keep the unit upright; if tilted, allow it to stand for 12 hours before use.

Operation

Before first use, allow the unit to settle for 12 hours. Ensure the pre-filter and carbon filter are correctly installed. Plug the unit into a grounded socket and press the ON/OFF button. Use the humidity setting button to select your desired target humidity (40% to 70%) or continuous mode. The timer function allows for pre-setting operation times up to 15 hours. The 14EL model includes a Comfort Humidity light to visually indicate room moisture levels.

Drainage

When the water tank is full, the compressor stops automatically. To empty, pull the tank out squarely from the unit. For continuous operation, a drain tube (not supplied) with an 11mm inner diameter can be connected to the drain spout located at the top of the tank area. Ensure the tube is positioned at a lower height than the outlet to allow gravity drainage.

Maintenance

Always unplug the unit before cleaning. Wipe the body with a soft, damp cloth. The plastic dust filter should be washed every 2 weeks with warm water and mild detergent; ensure it is completely dry before re-installation. The active carbon filter is not washable and should be cleaned with a dry cloth and placed in sunlight every 3-6 months to recharge its properties. Never operate the unit without filters.

Troubleshooting

If the unit fails to operate, check the power connection, room temperature (must be between 5°C and 32°C), and ensure the water tank is correctly seated. If the unit is noisy, verify it is on a level surface. Error codes 1H, 2H, or 4H indicate sensor or connection malfunctions requiring professional service. If the power light flashes, the unit may be in defrost mode.

Disposal

At the end of its life, do not dispose of this appliance with household waste. Please recycle it at a designated facility in accordance with local environmental regulations.
