The Countdown Timer 16A with display is designed to switch electrical loads on for a user-defined period. Once the set overtravel time has elapsed, the device automatically switches the load off. The runtime can be adjusted between one minute and eight hours. The unit features a 2-pole switch for manual control and supports the connection of an external push-button for remote operation.

Commissioning and Operation

The timer is installed in a flush-mounted box. The display is activated by pressing any operating key. To set the overtravel time, use the '+' or '-' keys to adjust the duration in steps or steplessly. The timer starts automatically if no input is made for three seconds. The status display flashes while the time counts down.

External Push-Button

An external mechanical push-button can be connected to start or end the overtravel time from a different location. This function must be enabled in the settings menu. It supports two modes: Trigger (ON) to start the timer, or Toggling (OFF) to alternate between starting and stopping the load.

Settings and Maintenance

Users can configure the minimum and maximum overtravel time limits and the external push-button function via the settings menu. Access the menu by holding '+' and '-' simultaneously for three seconds. The device requires no specific maintenance but should be kept clean. If an 'Error HEAt' message appears, it indicates internal overheating; switch the device off and on again, or contact a specialist if the error persists.
