Safety Precautions
For safe operation, always place the cooker on a stable, dry surface away from heat sources. Do not immerse the main body or cover in water, as this can damage the electrical components. Never use the inner pot directly on an open flame. Ensure the power cord is in good condition; if damaged, it must be replaced by the manufacturer. Keep the appliance out of reach of children and ensure it is operated only by responsible individuals. Always unplug the unit when not in use.
Cleaning and Maintenance
Always unplug the unit and allow it to cool before cleaning. Remove the inner pot and wash it with detergent soap, then dry it thoroughly with a soft cloth. Use a non-metal brush or sponge to remove any cooked rice from the heater plate. Do not use abrasive cleaners, steel wool, or metal brushes, as these can damage the surface. Keep the inner pot cover and steaming plate clean and dry at all times.
Troubleshooting
If the heating plate does not heat, check the power supply and connections. If the rice is undercooked or takes too long to cook, ensure the inner pot is not deformed and is properly seated on the heater plate. For any persistent malfunctions, such as the thermostat failing to switch to warm or the rice burning, contact an authorized service center for professional repair. Do not attempt to reconstruct or repair the unit yourself.
