Device Description
The MUSE 118FSN series features a 18-inch neodymium woofer with a 3-inch voice coil and a 1600W RMS Class D amplifier. The cabinet is constructed from 15mm birch plywood and includes integrated suspension hardware compatible with MUSE 210 line arrays. The system supports TCP/IP networking via the INFINITO management suite and Dante digital audio streaming.
Installation
The system can be flown or ground-stacked. Always inspect suspension materials before use and ensure all locking pins are correctly engaged. The system is designed for a 4:1 safety factor. For cardioid configurations, specific physical orientation and DSP presets are required to cancel rear-facing sound pressure.
Networking
The subwoofers feature dual Ethernet ports for daisy-chaining or star network topologies. The INFINITO management suite allows for remote monitoring and control. A hardware bypass feature ensures network continuity in case of individual device failure.
Controls and Functions
The rear panel includes an OLED display and a push-encoder for local DSP control. Key functions include:
- CONFIG PRESET: Select between OMNI and CARDIOID modes.
- IN ROUTING: Choose between Analog (XLR) or Dante sources.
- MEMORY: Save and recall snapshots, including factory defaults.
- LOCK SCREEN: Prevent unauthorized changes to settings.
Safety and Maintenance

System overheating
Check for fan malfunction or blocked ventilation. The system will trigger TEMP PROTECTION.
Network failure in daisy chain
The system includes a hardware bypass, but ensure no more than 8 modules are connected in a single chain to maintain stability.
Incorrect cardioid performance
Ensure the physical orientation of the subwoofers is correct and the appropriate CONFIG PRESET (CARDIO 1/2 FRONT) is selected.

- Verify the load capacity of the mounting structure.
