Product Overview

The Genie GS™-1432m, GS™-1932m, and GS™-1932m XH are mobile elevating work platforms (MEWP) designed to lift personnel, tools, and materials to elevated work sites. These machines are intended for use by trained and authorized personnel only.

Safety Guidelines

Danger: Failure to follow the instructions and safety rules in this manual will result in death or serious injury. Operators must be trained, understand the safety rules, and perform pre-operation inspections and function tests before use.

• Fall Protection: Use approved anchor points if fall protection equipment is required by site or employer rules.
• Electrocution Hazards: The machine is not electrically insulated. Maintain required clearance from power lines.
• Tip-over Hazards: Do not exceed the platform's rated load capacity. Ensure the machine is on a firm, level surface before elevating.
• Collision Hazards: Be aware of limited visibility and blind spots. Check the work area for overhead obstructions.

Operation

The machine features both ground and platform controls. Operators must perform a pre-operation inspection and function test before every shift. The platform controls allow for driving, steering, and lifting functions. Always ensure the platform gate is closed and the machine is in the stowed position before entering or exiting.

Maintenance

Operators are responsible for daily pre-operation inspections and routine maintenance. All other maintenance must be performed by qualified service technicians according to the manufacturer's specifications. Regularly check hydraulic oil levels and battery condition. Ensure all safety decals are in place and legible.

Troubleshooting

If the machine exhibits any faults or malfunctions, it must be tagged and removed from service immediately. Consult the service manual for detailed repair procedures. The control system provides diagnostic codes on the LCD/LED screens to assist in identifying issues.

Disposal

At the end of the machine's service life, follow all local and governmental regulations regarding disposal and decommissioning.
