The Insportline 1-BEN is a versatile 4-in-1 skate system. Before use, ensure all screws and nuts are tightened. Always wear a helmet and protective gear (wrist, elbow, and knee pads). Do not use inline skates in temperatures below -5°C or ice skates below -15°C. Regularly inspect the wheels, bearings, and blades for wear and tear. If parts become loose or damaged, stop using the skates immediately.
Product description
The skates feature a durable construction with a PP or polyamide boot, an aluminum frame, and stainless steel blades (HR52-53). The wheels are ABEC-7 rated. The product is classified according to EN 13843 (inline) and EN 15638 (ice) standards. Weight limits vary by class: Class A (20-100 kg) and Class B (20-60 kg).
Safety precautions
- Children under 5 years must be supervised by an adult. Assembly and disassembly should be performed by an adult.
- Use only on smooth, clean, and solid surfaces. Avoid wet, oily, or dusty areas.
- Do not skate among other vehicles.
- Always wear protective equipment.
- Do not make unauthorized modifications to the product.
- Store in a dry place away from direct sunlight to prevent fiber degradation.
Skating techniques
Basic Stance: Stand with feet 15-25 cm apart, knees bent and pushed forward, leaning slightly forward from the waist with arms extended. Look straight ahead.
Movement: Start by walking on grass, then move to a smooth surface. Keep knees bent to maintain balance. To stop, use the rear brake pad by placing the braking foot about 10 cm forward and pressing the heel down.
Advanced Techniques: Practice the 'A-frame' position (feet wider, ankles straight) and 'Push and Glide' (pushing at a 45-degree angle).
Assembly and configuration
The skates can be converted between configurations (Inline, Trekking, Ice). Use the provided tools to remove screws (1, 2, 3) and reassemble the frame or blades as shown in the diagrams. Ensure all screws are tightened securely after configuration changes.

Maintenance and care
- Wheels: Check before every use. If worn, replace with compatible wheels (PU wheels recommended). Rotate wheels 180 degrees if they wear unevenly.
- Bearings: If they become noisy, lubricate them. Do not use oil or vaseline; use graphite or silicone-based lubricants.
- Cleaning: Clean the inside of the boot with a damp cloth and soapy water. Let it dry at room temperature. Do not use organic solvents.
- Blades: Protect with blade guards during storage and transport. Have them sharpened by a professional once a year.
