Quick guide from the manual
The iSkydance DL is a 4-channel DMX512 decoder designed for 0/1-10V analog control. It supports RDM, stand-alone RGB/RGBW modes, and manual dimming. This document provides instructions for wiring, DMX addressing, and configuring system parameters.
Device Description
The device features a digital numeric display and buttons for configuration. It is designed for DIN rail mounting (TS-35/7.5 or TS-35/15). It supports 1, 2, or 4-channel output modes and selectable dimming curves (linear or logarithmic).
Installation and Wiring
Ensure the power supply is 12-24VDC. Connect the DMX signal to the DMX IN terminals. Connect the 0/1-10V dimmable drivers to the corresponding output terminals (1-4). Note: Do not exceed 50 LED drivers per output, and keep wire lengths under 50 meters.
System Parameter Setting
Long press M and left arrow for 2 seconds to enter system settings. Use the M key to switch between items:
- Decode mode: Select 1, 2, or 4-channel decode (d-1, d-2, d-4).
- 0/1-10V output: Toggle between 0-10V (0-0) and 1-10V (1-0).
- Dimming curve: Select linear (C-L) or logarithmic (C-E).
- Default output level: Set 0-100% level (d00-dFF) when no DMX signal is present.
- Automatic blank screen: Enable (bon) or disable (boF).
Operation Modes
The decoder automatically enters DMX mode when a signal is detected. For stand-alone operation (when DMX is disconnected):
- RGB/RGBW mode: Press M to select P01-P24. Adjust speed, brightness, and W-channel brightness using the arrow keys.
- Dimmer mode: Press M to select L-1-L-8. Adjust brightness for each channel independently.
Troubleshooting
If the device is not functioning correctly, check the following:
- No light: Verify power supply and check all connections for security.
- Wrong color: Check 0-10V output wiring and ensure the DMX decode address is set correctly.
