RoHS Compliance Statement

This document serves as an official statement from Leviton Manufacturing Co., Inc. regarding the compliance of the 16A23-UG product with Directive 2011/65/EU (as amended by Directive 2015/863) concerning the restriction of the use of certain hazardous substances in electrical and electronic equipment.

Substance Restrictions

Based on certifications from material suppliers, the Leviton 16A23-UG complies with the maximum concentration values tolerated for the following restricted substances as identified in Annex II of the recast, or utilizes valid exemptions as identified in Annex III:

• Hexavalent chromium: <0.1%
• Cadmium: <0.01%
• Mercury: <0.1%
• Lead: <0.1%
• Polybrominated diphenyl ethers (PBDEs): <0.1%
• Polybrominated biphenyls (PBBs): <0.1%
• Bis(2-ethylhexyl) phthalate (DEHP): <0.1%
• Butyl benzyl phthalate (BBP): <0.1%
• Dibutyl phthalate (DBP): <0.1%
• Diisobutyl phthalate (DIBP): <0.1%

Leviton does not expect these substances to be present in excess of the established threshold limits and does not perform specific analysis on raw materials or the end product for these materials.
