The Namron Zigbee Smart Plug 16A IP44 is a smart socket designed for integration into Zigbee networks. It features a 16A capacity and an IP44 rating, making it suitable for various environments. The device includes advanced features such as power metering, over-current protection, and OTA (Over-the-Air) update capabilities.

Zigbee Network Pairing

To add the device to a Zigbee network, perform the following steps:

  • Long press the setting button for 10 seconds.
  • The relay will turn off, and the indicator will flash 3 times every 2 seconds for up to 180 seconds.
  • Once pairing is successful, the indicator will remain solid for 5 seconds, and the relay will return to its previous state.

Note: Long pressing the setting button triggers both a factory reset and the pairing process simultaneously.

The device supports TouchLink commissioning for direct pairing with remotes:

  • Short press the setting button 8 times to enter TouchLink mode.
  • The indicator will flash once every second.
  • Bring the remote within 10cm of the smart plug and initiate TouchLink commissioning on the remote.

For Find and Bind functionality, short press the setting button 9 times. The indicator will flash once every 2 seconds to confirm the mode is active.

Maintenance and Advanced Settings

The smart plug includes several maintenance and diagnostic features:

  • Factory Reset: Hold the setting button for 10 seconds.
  • Reset Power Meter: Short press the setting button twice, then long press on the third time. The indicator will flash 5 times to confirm the reset.
  • Clear Over-current Alarm: Short press the setting button three times, then long press on the fourth time for 5 seconds. The blue indicator will flash slowly 3 times.
  • OTA Mode: Short press the setting button four times, then long press on the fifth time for 3 seconds to activate OTA mode.

Network Status Indicators

The blue indicator provides feedback on the device's network status:

  • Not added to a network: Flashes once every 2 seconds.
  • Device offline: Flashes twice every 2 seconds.
