The NEO TOOLS 150mm digital caliper is a precision measuring instrument designed for accurate external, internal, depth, and differential measurements. It features a clear LCD display and a linear capacitive measuring system.

Safety Instructions

Always handle the caliper with care. The external and internal measuring jaws, as well as the depth rod, have sharp edges. Do not perform measurements on rotating objects to avoid injury and premature wear of the measuring surfaces. Do not apply electrical voltage to any part of the caliper.

Operation

Before use, ensure all measuring surfaces are clean and free from grease, dust, or metal filings. Use a soft cloth for cleaning. To operate: loosen the slider lock screw, press the ON/OFF button, and select the desired unit (mm/inch). Use the slider to bring the jaws together and press the ZERO button to reset the display if necessary. For external, internal, or depth measurements, position the jaws or rod appropriately against the object being measured.

Maintenance

Keep the caliper dry and clean. Never use organic solvents like benzene or acetone for cleaning. If the device is not to be used for an extended period, remove the battery to prevent damage from leakage.

Troubleshooting

• Digits flicker on display: Battery voltage is below 1.45V. Replace the battery.
• No digits on display: Battery voltage is below 1.4V or poor battery contact. Check battery position or replace.
• Display does not change: Random fault in internal circuit. Remove battery for 30 seconds and reinstall.
• Accuracy issues: Sensor may be dirty. Clean the interior with compressed air (5 bar).
