Product Overview

The New Bright 1688U is a high-performance remote-controlled vehicle designed for fun and durability. This model features 2.4GHz technology, allowing up to six vehicles to be raced simultaneously without interference. The vehicle is powered by an internal Lithium-ion battery, which is conveniently recharged via an integrated USB cable.

Charging the Battery

To charge the vehicle, ensure the ON/OFF switch is set to the OFF position. Locate the storage compartment on the underside of the vehicle, open it, and carefully extend the USB charging cable. Connect the cable to any standard USB power source, such as a computer or wall adapter. During the charging process, the LED indicator under the vehicle will remain illuminated. Once the battery is fully charged, the LED will turn off. Charging typically takes approximately one hour. Always return the cable to the storage compartment and secure the lid before operating the vehicle.

Transmitter Setup

The transmitter requires two AA alkaline batteries. To install, open the battery compartment cover on the back of the transmitter and insert the batteries according to the correct polarity markings (+ and -). Use only fresh alkaline batteries for optimal performance. Do not mix old and new batteries, or different types of batteries. The transmitter will automatically sync with the vehicle upon activation.

Operation and Proper Use

The vehicle features a simple control scheme for forward/reverse movement and left/right steering. If the vehicle pulls to the left or right while driving forward, use the Wheel Alignment Dial located on the bottom of the chassis to adjust the steering. Always turn the vehicle OFF when not in use to preserve battery life.

Precautions and Care

To ensure the longevity of your R/C vehicle, follow these care guidelines:

• Avoid driving through water, sand, or snow, as these can damage internal components.
• Clean the vehicle by wiping the body with a soft rag or tack cloth.
• Do not use chemicals, solvents, or water to clean the vehicle.
• Remove batteries from the transmitter when the device is not in use for extended periods.
• Do not attempt to remove or replace the internal battery.

Troubleshooting

If you experience issues with your vehicle, check the following:

• Vehicle does not move: Ensure fresh batteries are installed in the transmitter with correct polarity, check that the vehicle is switched ON, and verify that the internal battery is fully charged.
• Reduced range or erratic movement: Ensure there is no radio interference from nearby power lines, tall buildings, or other radio-controlled devices.
