The Philips FlexFit T8 LED lamp is designed for installation flexibility, supporting both Type A (plug-and-play) and Type B (direct wire) configurations. This allows the lamp to be used with existing ballasts or wired directly to line voltage if the ballast fails.
Installation and Wiring
The lamp supports two installation methods:

- Type A (Plug and Play): Compatible with existing ballasts.
- Type B (Direct Wire): If the ballast fails, simply cut the ballast from the system and wire the tube directly to line voltage (120-277V).
