This document provides the technical specifications and installation requirements for the Puretec FilterWall system when mounted into a 110mm rendered brick wall. Ensure all installations comply with relevant Australian building standards.
Wall Cutout and Preparation
Proper wall preparation is critical for the installation of the FilterWall housing. Ensure the following dimensions are met:

- Wall Opening Width: 605mm
- Wall Opening Height: 784mm
- Suggested Height from Floor: 764mm
- Stud Spacing: 600mm (centers)
Installation Details
The installation requires specific hardware and sealing techniques to ensure structural integrity and proper fit:

- Brick Ties: Use 4x medium-duty brick ties, pop-riveted to the housing.
- Mounting Angle: When mounted to the housing, brick ties must be set at a 4-degree angle.
- Sealing: Apply sealant around the perimeter of the FilterWall housing.
- Additional Components: Packing shims and PEX or Copper tubing are required for installation but are not supplied with the unit.
