Installation instructions


- Locate and mark the rafter: Identify the structural rafter location.
- Predrill the hole: Use the 15/64” drill bit.
- Apply sealant (Optional): Fill the predrilled hole with MFG approved sealant.
- Apply sealant (Optional): Place a ring of sealant around the bottom of the Microflashing® washer.
- Position components: Place the Microflashing®, then the L-Foot.
- Insert Miniflashing®: Slide the Miniflashing® under the shingles, over the L-Foot.
- Secure the bolt: Insert the bolt over the Miniflashing® and drive until the Microflashing® is compressed and the Miniflashing® is secure.
Important notes
To ensure proper compression of the Microflashing® with the QB2, use a minimum torque of 150 lbs/inch. When fully compressed, the L-Foot will not rotate.
