Quick Guide
The Regulus ball valve with an integrated strainer is designed for tight closure or opening of fluid flow while filtering impurities. It is suitable for use with drinking water, water, and antifreeze fluids in heating systems, heat pumps, and solar thermal systems.
Installation
The valve can be installed in either a horizontal or vertical position. Always observe the following requirements:

- Flow Direction: Ensure the flow direction matches the arrow marked on the valve housing.
- Handling: Hold the ball valve on the side where you are connecting the pipe. Holding the valve on the opposite side is prohibited as it may damage the assembly.
Maintenance and Cleaning
To ensure proper operation, the integrated strainer should be cleaned periodically:
- Close the ball valve by turning the lever clockwise by 90°.
- Unscrew the lid manually and remove the strainer.
- Remove impurities from the strainer mesh.
- Return the clean strainer to its place and screw the lid back on.
- Open the ball valve by turning the lever counter-clockwise by 90°.
