Starting Operation

Before regular operation, it is recommended to run the locomotive for 30 minutes in both forward and backward directions without a load to ensure optimal performance. The minimum track radius for this model is R2 (358 mm). Ensure tracks are clean for smooth operation; use a track cleaning wagon or rubber for maintenance. The model comes with optional detail parts that can be fitted; use glue only where explicitly indicated.

Digital Operation

For digital multi-train control, remove the jumper from the interface and insert the decoder plug according to the provided pin configuration. Ensure the plug is oriented correctly to avoid damage.

Maintenance and Care

To maintain performance, service the locomotive approximately every 30 operating hours:

• Cleaning: Use a small brush to remove dirt from wheel contacts.
• Lubrication: Apply tiny drops of oil to designated points. Use specialized grease for gear parts like cogwheels and worms. Do not oil parts where grease is applied.
• Traction Tyres: Replace worn tyres by removing the gear cover and wheel set. Avoid twisting the new tyres during installation.
• Motor: The motor can be accessed and replaced by removing the locomotive body.
