This document provides instructions for the Rusta Northern Light Christmas tree light chain. It covers the initial pairing of the remote control, operation of the 18 available lighting modes, and the configuration of the two timer functions.

First steps and pairing
Before using the light chain, you must pair the remote control with the receiver attached to the light chain:
- Plug in the transformer.
- Within 3 seconds, press and hold the ON/OFF button on the remote control.
- The pairing is successful when the red light on the remote control and the blue light on the receiver illuminate.
Lighting modes
The light chain features 18 different lighting functions, which can be cycled through by pressing the MODE button on the remote control. These include various color rotations, stacking effects, chasing patterns, and pulsating flashes.
Timer settings
The timer function allows for automatic operation. Note that the timer has no memory and must be reset each time the lights are turned on.
- Timer Mode 1: Press the TIMER button once. The lights will flash red 3 times. The chain will stay on for 4 hours and turn off for 20 hours, repeating this cycle.
- Timer Mode 2: Press the TIMER button twice. The lights will flash green 3 times. The chain will stay on for 6 hours and turn off for 18 hours, repeating this cycle.
