The SJE Rhombus Tank Alert I is an indoor liquid level alarm system designed to monitor liquid levels in lift pump chambers, sump pump basins, holding tanks, sewage, and agricultural applications. The system provides both visual and audible alerts when a potentially threatening liquid level condition occurs.
Product Overview
The alarm system features a NEMA 1 enclosure suitable for indoor use. It includes a green "power on" indicator and a red "alarm" indicator. The system is designed to operate on a low-voltage circuit for the float switch, isolating it from the main power line to reduce the risk of electrical shock.
Operation
When a liquid level condition triggers the float switch, the alarm horn sounds at 86 decibels (measured at 10 feet). The horn can be silenced using the "silence" switch, but the red warning light will remain illuminated until the liquid level condition is remedied. A "test" switch is provided to verify the alarm functionality.

Float Switch and Compatibility

Safety and Warnings
The 230 VAC model is not UL Listed or CSA Certified. Ensure the system is installed on a separate circuit so that the alarm remains operational even if the pump circuit fails.

Common problems
Check the liquid level. The horn can be silenced using the 'silence' switch, but the warning light will remain on until the condition is corrected.
Do not apply power to the float switch terminals. They are designed for low voltage (12 VAC) connection only.
