Starting the device

Insert the batteries into the battery compartment. Press the Power button to turn on the device. A self-test will run for approximately 2 seconds, after which the device will switch to the main screen. The device turns off automatically after 5 minutes of inactivity, or you can hold the Power button for 3 seconds to turn it off manually.

Active test

  1. Turn on the device.
  2. When the main screen appears, press the Power button to enter test mode.
  3. Wait for the "PH" indicator to flash for 4 seconds and "Ready" to appear.
  4. Place the device 1-2 cm from your mouth and blow evenly into the mouthpiece for approximately 2 seconds.
  5. The display will show "BLO" and beep. The device will perform the analysis and display the result after a few seconds.

Passive test

This mode is used for breath sampling without direct blowing into the mouthpiece.

  1. Turn on the device and press the Power button to enter test mode.
  2. When "Ready" is displayed, place the device 1-2 cm from your mouth.
  3. Speak or breathe into the mouthpiece.
  4. The device will automatically draw a breath sample and perform the analysis.

Setup mode

To enter setup mode, hold the Power + Up + Down buttons for approximately 2 seconds on the main screen. "0000" will be displayed. Use the buttons to select digits and wait to enter settings.

  • Alarm and unit settings: Set "1000" in setup mode. Use the Down button to select units (‰ BAC, % BAC, or mg/L). Press Power for 2 seconds to save.
  • Second-level alarm: Set "2001" in setup mode. Use the Up/Down buttons to set the desired alarm value, then press Power for 2 seconds to save.
  • Deleting records: Set "6000" in setup mode to view the total number of tests. Press Power for 2 seconds to delete records.

Maintenance

The device is accurate for approximately 1 year. It is recommended to perform recalibration every 12 months or sooner with frequent use. Contact an authorized service center or dealer for calibration.
