This document provides instructions for installing the rail extension kit for Sommer garage door operators. The kit is designed to extend the rail length to accommodate larger garage doors. Ensure you have all components before beginning the installation.
Tools required
- 13 mm or 1/2 inch wrench
Installation steps
- Rail Assembly: Connect the rail segments securely. Ensure the alignment is straight and the segments are locked together as shown in the diagram.
- Chain Connection: Connect the chain segments. Ensure the locking mechanism is fully engaged and the chain is properly seated in the rail guide.
- Final Check: Verify the assembly is secure and the chain moves freely along the rail before attempting to operate the garage door.

- S 9050 / S 9060 / S 9080 / S 9110 (base+, pro+, tiga, tiga+)
