Safety and Maintenance

Important Safety Warnings:

• This unit is intended for use only within server racks in controlled environments.
• Do not operate the device if any parts are missing or damaged.
• Avoid touching the product if internal circuitry or wiring is exposed.
• Never insert foreign objects into the power outlets to prevent electric shock or fire.
• If the circuit breaker trips due to excessive load, disconnect non-essential devices, allow the unit to cool for at least 60 seconds, and then press the manual reset button.

Installation

The PDU comes with pre-installed 4-way mounting brackets. For 19-inch rack mounting, align the unit with the rack posts, insert cage nuts if necessary, and secure using the provided M5x12mm screws. The brackets can be removed or reoriented to support different mounting depths or vertical 0U configurations. Always ensure a proper ground connection using the designated grounding point on the unit with a minimum 18 AWG wire.

Troubleshooting

If the surge protection LED is off, it indicates a surge event has occurred. If the unit loses power, check the manual circuit breaker reset button. Ensure all connections are secure and that the total load does not exceed the 15A rating.
