Adjusting hood position
To adjust the hood in forward, rearward, left, or right directions, loosen the hood side hinge bolts. Ensure the bolts are tightened to the following specifications:
- Bolt A: 13 N·m (130 kgf·cm, 10 ft·lbf)
- Bolt B: 18 N·m (180 kgf·cm, 13 ft·lbf)
Adjusting front edge vertical height
The vertical position of the front edge of the hood is adjusted by turning the rubber cushions located at the front of the engine bay.
Adjusting the hood lock
To align the hood lock mechanism, loosen the three mounting bolts. Once the lock is positioned correctly, tighten the bolts to a torque of 8.0 N·m (82 kgf·cm, 71 in.·lbf).
