Updating Infinium Receiver Firmware

  1. Download Firmware: Visit the Williams AV website or the Documentation & Firm page to download the receiver firmware file. Do not unzip this file.
  2. Download Updater: Download the Infinium Firmware Updater utility.
  3. Prepare Updater: Unzip the Infinium Receiver Updater file by right-clicking it and selecting "Extract All".
  4. Launch Updater: Double-click the extracted Updater file to open it.
  5. Follow Instructions: Follow the on-screen prompts. When asked to browse for the firmware file, select the downloaded ZIP file. Important: Upload the entire ZIP file; do not extract it.
  6. Disconnect: Once the update is complete, unplug the receiver from the USB cable.
  7. Verify: Press the Menu/Select button on the receiver to confirm the update was successful.
