This notice concerns the Anko Active Sand Tub 14-Piece Sand Castle (model 42975724). A product safety recall has been issued because laboratory testing has detected the presence of asbestos in the sand included with this product.

Health Hazard Information

The product poses a potential health risk due to the presence of asbestos. While respirable asbestos fibers have not been detected in tested samples and the risk of airborne exposure is considered low in the product's current state, the material must not be processed, crushed, or pulverized, as this could release harmful fibers.

Required Actions for Consumers

If you own this product, please take the following steps immediately to ensure your safety:

• Stop using the product immediately and ensure that children do not touch or play with the sand.
• Do not attempt to empty the contents. Place the entire container into a sealed plastic bag or container.
• Double-bag the item in thick plastic and seal it tightly with tape.
• Clearly label the package with the text: ASBESTOS - DO NOT OPEN.
• Do not attempt to clean up any loose sand using a vacuum, broom, hose, or brush.
• Do not dispose of the product in household trash, recycling, or general rubbish bins.

Please return the sealed and labeled product to your nearest Anko store. You are entitled to a full refund, and no receipt is required for this return. The store team will coordinate the safe disposal of the product through a DENR-accredited hazardous-waste transporter.
