Table of contents
Product Overview
The Ariston Andris Lux Eco 10U is an electronic storage electric water heater designed for installation under the point of use. It features a smart function that learns user consumption patterns to optimize energy savings and minimize heat loss. The unit is equipped with a thermal disinfection cycle (anti-legionella) which is disabled by default.

Safety Instructions
Important: The appliance must be installed by a qualified technician in accordance with local regulations. Do not use the appliance for purposes other than those specified. Ensure the appliance is properly grounded. Do not touch the appliance when barefoot or with wet body parts. Keep packaging materials out of reach of children.
Installation
Install the appliance as close as possible to the point of use to minimize heat loss. Ensure there is at least 50 cm of free space inside the enclosure for maintenance access. The appliance must be mounted on a solid wall not subject to vibrations. Use the provided bracket and secure it with appropriate screws and dowels.
Operation
The water temperature can be adjusted between 40°C and 80°C using the control panel. The "ECO EVO" function is active by default and learns user habits over a one-week period to optimize heating times and temperatures. If the appliance is unused for a long period, disconnect it from the power supply and close the water circuit cocks.
Maintenance
Maintenance must be performed by qualified personnel. The heating element should be descaled approximately every two years. The magnesium anode must be replaced every two years (unless the boiler is stainless steel), or checked annually if the water is aggressive or chloride-rich. Always use original spare parts.
Troubleshooting
If the water is cold, check the power supply to the thermostat and the heating elements. If the water is boiling, disconnect the power and check the thermostat and scale buildup. If water leaks from the overpressure device during heating, this is normal; if it continues when not heating, check the device setting and mains pressure.

Common problems
Check power supply to the thermostat/terminal block and verify if heating elements are functional.
Disconnect power immediately and check the thermostat and scale buildup on the boiler and heating element.
Check mains water pressure, the condition of the cold water intake deflector, and the hot water pipe.
Dripping during heating is normal. If it persists when not heating, check device setting and mains pressure.
Before use
- Ensure the electrical system is properly grounded.
- Verify mains voltage matches the appliance nameplate.
- Fill the tank with water and vent all air before powering on.
- Check for leaks at the flanges and tighten fittings if necessary.
- Ensure the overpressure safety device is installed correctly.
Specs in practice
- Load profile
- Classification of the heater's capacity (XXS or S).

Model compatibility
- Models intended for installation under the point of use are labeled 'undersink'.
- Water hardness must be between 12°F and 25°F; use a water softener if necessary.
- For countries following EN 1487, the supplied overpressure device may need to be replaced with a compliant one.
