Device Description

The tool is designed for driving and loosening screws and for drilling in wood, metal, ceramic, and plastic. The GSB model also supports impact drilling in brick, masonry, and stone.

Assembly

Important: Always remove the battery before performing any work on the tool (e.g., maintenance, tool change).

  • Auxiliary Handle: Always use the auxiliary handle (4). To mount, turn the lower gripping end anticlockwise, pull back the intermediate piece (5), slide the handle over the drill chuck, and retighten.
  • Drilling Depth: Use the depth stop (3) to set the desired drilling depth X.
  • Tool Change: The drill spindle is locked when the on/off switch (17) is not pressed, allowing for quick tool changes. Open the keyless chuck (2) by turning in direction 1, insert the tool, and tighten firmly by hand in direction 2.

Operation

  • Rotational Direction: Use the rotational direction switch (16) to change the direction. Do not operate while the on/off switch (17) is pressed.
  • Operating Mode: Use the mode selector switch (8) to choose between drilling, screwdriving, or impact drilling (GSB model only).
  • Speed/Torque: Adjust speed by varying pressure on the on/off switch (17). Use the gear selector (9) to choose between two speed ranges (1: low speed/high torque, 2: high speed/low torque).
  • KickBack Control: Provides rapid shut-off if the tool suddenly rotates around the drilling axis. Indicated by a flashing LED.

Safety and Maintenance

Keep the tool and ventilation slots clean for safe operation. Protect the battery from heat, fire, and moisture. If the tool blocks, switch it off immediately to avoid high reaction moments.
