The Bosch GLI 12V-80 Professional is a portable, battery-operated work light intended for temporary, localized illumination in dry indoor and outdoor areas. It is not suitable for general room lighting.

Operation
Inserting the battery: Insert the charged battery into the handle until it is felt to engage and sits flush against the handle.

Switching On and Off: Press the On/Off switch to start the work light. Press the switch again to turn it off. To save energy, only switch the light on when in use.
Deep discharge protection: The lithium-ion battery is protected against deep discharging by the Electronic Cell Protection (ECP). When the battery is empty, the work light is automatically switched off by a protective circuit.
Safety
- Do not direct the light beam at persons or animals and do not stare into the light beam yourself.
- Do not cover the lamp head while the work light is in operation, as it generates intense heat.
- Remove the battery before any work on the work light (e.g., maintenance) and during transport or storage.
- Do not allow children to use the work light.
- Protect the battery against heat, continuous intense sunlight, fire, water, and moisture.
Maintenance and Cleaning
The work light is maintenance-free and contains no components that require replacement or maintenance. The light source cannot be replaced; if it is defective, the entire work light must be replaced. Clean the plastic lens only with a dry, soft cloth to avoid damage. Do not use cleaning agents or solvents.
