Device description

The tool is designed for driving and loosening screws and for drilling in wood, metal, ceramic, and plastic. The GSB model is also designed for impact drilling in brick, masonry, and stone. Data and settings can be transferred via Bluetooth Low Energy Module GCY 42.

Fitting the auxiliary handle
Fitting the auxiliary handle

Auxiliary handle

The tool must only be used with the auxiliary handle (4). To fit, turn the lower gripping end anticlockwise, pull back the intermediate piece, slide the handle over the chuck, and retighten.

Drilling depth

Use the depth stop (3) to set the required drilling depth X by loosening the wing bolt (5) and adjusting the stop.

Operation

Starting operation

Insert the charged battery (11) into the handle until it engages. Set the rotational direction switch (16) to the middle position to prevent accidental starting.

Operating modes

Use the mode selector switch (7) to choose between drilling, screwdriving, or impact drilling (GSB model only).

Speed and torque

Adjust speed by varying the pressure on the on/off switch (17). Use the torque presetting ring (6) to select the required torque in 25 stages for screwdriving.

KickBack Control

The rapid shut-off function (KickBack Control) provides better control and user protection by switching off the tool if it suddenly rotates around the drilling axis. It can be deactivated via the user interface (14).

Electronic Angle Detection (EAD)

EAD allows preselecting a slope angle for drilling or screwdriving at right angles on sloped surfaces. Control this via the user interface (14).

Maintenance and cleaning

Keep the tool and ventilation slots clean for safe and efficient operation. Remove the battery before any maintenance.
