Assembly

Remove the battery before any work on the tool. To insert a tool, pull the locking sleeve forward, insert the tool into the holder, and release the sleeve. For GDX and GDS models, slide the tool onto the square drive of the tool holder.

Operation

The tool is driven by an electric motor via a gear and impact mechanism. The working procedure consists of two phases: screwing in and tightening. The impact mechanism activates when the screw connection tightens and the motor is under load.

Settings and Modes

The user interface allows for speed preselection (3 levels) and mode selection (A and B). These can also be managed via the Bosch Toolbox app using the Bluetooth Low Energy Module GCY 42.
