The Bosch Professional GBL 18V-120 is a cordless blower designed for clearing non-hazardous debris (e.g., sawdust, metal chips, stone dust) from work areas. It can also be used to blow out drill holes with the appropriate accessories. It is not suitable for hot, flammable, or explosive materials.
Assembly
Important: Always remove the battery before performing maintenance, changing accessories, or storing the tool to prevent accidental startup.
Fitting blower accessories
- Insert the bayonet lock (12) of the accessory into the recesses (8) on the motor housing or the extension tube (9).
- Turn the bayonet lock a quarter turn clockwise to secure.
Fitting the dust collection tube
- Place the recesses (13) of the dust collection tube (11) over the outer bayonet lock (12) of the drill hole nozzle (10).
- Turn the dust collection tube (11) a quarter turn clockwise to secure.
Operation
Switching on/off
To switch on, press the on/off switch (1) to position I (for light materials) or II (for heavy materials). To switch off, push the switch to position 0.
Working advice
- Never blow dirt towards bystanders.
- Hold the tool approximately 3 cm above the ground during operation.
- Ensure the air inlet (5) remains free of obstructions during use.
Battery maintenance
The tool is compatible with Bosch 18V Li-ion batteries. Use only the chargers listed in the technical data. Protect the battery from moisture, water, and heat (e.g., direct sunlight). Clean ventilation slots occasionally with a soft, dry brush.
Safety
Do not blow harmful substances such as beech or oak wood dust, rock dust, or asbestos. Always wear personal protective equipment, including safety glasses and a dust mask. Keep fingers away from openings during operation.
