The Bosch Professional GTH 18V-14 is a cordless tacker designed for driving staples into wood. It is not intended for use on metal or concrete. Before starting, ensure the battery is charged and correctly inserted. Always place the tool on its side when not in use to prevent it from tipping over.

Operation
The tool features two actuation systems: Single actuation with discharge lock-off and Contact actuation. For single actuation, press the discharge lock-off (1) firmly against the workpiece, then press the trigger (4). For contact actuation, press and hold the trigger (4), then press the discharge lock-off (1) against the workpiece to fire.
Adjusting the depth stop
Use the thumbwheel (13) to adjust the driving depth. Empty the magazine (11) first. Turn the wheel towards the minus symbol to reduce depth, or towards the plus symbol to increase it. Ensure the depth stop (12) rests fully on the workpiece after adjustment.
Maintenance and Cleaning
Regularly clean the magazine (11) and magazine slider (10) using compressed air to prevent jams. Ensure the discharge lock-off (1) functions correctly by cleaning its mechanism with compressed air periodically.
Troubleshooting
If the tool is not ready for operation, check if the battery is charged, correctly inserted, or at the optimal temperature. If the tool is ready but does not fire, check for foreign objects in the outlet (2) or magazine (11), clear any jammed staples in the shot duct, or ensure the magazine is not empty.
