The Bosch GardenPump 18V-2000 is designed for domestic use to pump rainwater from a water tank for irrigating flower beds, lawns, and vegetable patches. It can also be used for minor cleaning tasks. The system consists of a pump and a battery control unit.

Installation
Wall/Tank Attachment: Fasten the wall attachment (10) next to the water tank. If wall mounting is not possible, use the provided water tank attachment (8) to clip the unit directly to the tank rim. Ensure the control unit is mounted in a shaded area to prevent thermal shutdown.

Cable and Hose Setup: Measure the height (H) and diameter (D) of the tank, and the distance (E) to the control unit. Calculate cable length (L1 = H + D + E - 250 mm) and hose length (L2 = H - 130 mm). Wrap excess cable around the pump (18) and secure with the cable clamp (16). Cut the connecting hose to length L2 and re-attach the anti-siphon connector (12).
Operation
Starting: Insert the battery (22) into the control unit (6) and lock it with the locking handle (7). Press the On/Off switch (1) to start. The battery charge indicator (2) will light up.
Timer Function: Press the timer button (5) while the pump is running. Each press increases the runtime by 5 minutes, up to a maximum of 15 minutes. The selected time is indicated by the LEDs (4).
Maintenance
Filter Cleaning: Regularly inspect and clean the filter (17) located at the bottom of the pump. Pull it off, rinse under running water, and reattach.
Anti-Siphon Connector: If blocked, remove the cap (24) and ball (25), clean under running water, and reassemble.
Winter Storage: Remove the pump from the tank, drain all water, and store in a frost-free environment. Always remove the battery before storage.
